The 2012 Olympics was one of the biggest events ever held in London, and a whole new area of the city was created for it – the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
Spend a whole day (7 hours) exploring it by bike, getting up close to the stadiums and venues. Start the day by picking out a bike to rent on the Southbank, before being led by your expert guide east along the Thames, past the Tate Modern, Shakespeare’s Globe & Tower Bridge.
Once at the Park you will have time to explore the Aquatic Centre, Copper Box, Velodrome and of course the famous Olympic Stadium, whilst your guide explains the history and legacy of the Games. Plus, included in the price of the tour is a trip up the 115m high Arcelor Mittal Orbit sculpture, with stunning views over the Park and the rest of London.
With most of the tour at a leisurely pace along cycle paths, you don’t have to be an experienced London cyclist to enjoy this brilliant way to explore London and the Olympic Park.
With the LDN Card you receive 20% off the tour for up to 10 people.
