Held to celebrate upcoming talented artists from all different walks of life, The Winter Pride Awards were an essential part of London’s packed event calendar this year and boy, did it go off with a bang.
The evening was packed full of performances from the Capital’s most talented artists, fantastic food and even better company thanks to the likes of drag queen Panty Bliss being in attendance. The after party was like no other, thanks to the venue allowing for a range of different rooms that catered to every taste available. You could grab a vodka and coke in a room playing Sky Ferreira, before grabbing a glass of wine and heading to another room playing Britney Spears – practically every gay man’s dream.
Our favourite part was the cabaret room, which at one point during the evening became host to a group of drag queens performing an iconic Britney drag while holding umbrellas and wearing bald caps. It made for a memorable night all-round, and was a balls-to-the-wall way of celebrating fabulous LGBT artists that may otherwise go underappreciated and unrecognised.
Well done Winter Pride, you did good.
